Order Acceptance
Any contract between Docklands Recycled Furniture and the buyer shall consist of the buyer’s order and the seller’s acceptance thereof. Any order accepted by the seller shall be subject to the seller’s conditions of sale and no other conditions shall apply unless expressly agreed in writing by the seller.
Please note, our website is checked regularly for pricing errors, but mistakes can occur. We reserve the right to cancel any order before or after confirmation of your order. If a payment has been made then this will be refunded back to you via bank transfer.
Deliveries are charged at our standard rates, please contact the office for more information. Deliveries are carried out Monday – Friday between the hours of 8.30am and 4:30pm. Weekend deliveries are available at a premium, upon request (Including bank holidays). We are unable to give an exact timed delivery but will endeavour to meet your specific requirements.
If you wish to pay by cheque, we have to wait until we have received your cheque and it has cleared before we can order and arrange delivery of your products.
Methods of payment accepted are Debit or Credit Card (no amex) PayPal, direct bank transfer and online card payments.
Pricing
Although every effort is made to ensure the prices stated in the website are correct, should an error on price occur and an order is placed, you will be informed and given the option of continuing the order at the correct price or cancelling the order. All prices are subject to VAT chargeable at the current rate.
Please have the area clear and ready to accept delivery, but if the delivery has to be rescheduled a charge may be made of 25% (£50.00 + vat minimum).
For deliveries outside of the M25 please call for costs. Please also advise of any parking restrictions including red routes or yellow lines. Failure to inform us of any parking issues may delay delivery or incur additional costs to you. Delivery costs include full installation of your furniture on site by our skilled delivery fitters. Self assembly of new furniture will invalidate manufacturers guarantee and a charge will be made, should the company have to return to assemble or rectify. Please note that a signed delivery note or acceptance of furniture confirms delivery of goods in good, fully working condition.
We aim to deliver within 48 hours, but there will be times when we are unable to do this. For deliveries outside of the M25, or in outlying areas within the M25 it can take up to 72 hours to schedule delivery. We can also environmentally recycle/dispose of your old furnishings – please ask for costs.

Payment Terms
Preferred method of payment is by bank transfer, debit/credit card or Paypal. Please note credit payments will be subject to a 3% of total Invoice value sur-charge (do not accept amex). All Government bodies including Councils, Schools, Universities, NHS etc. maybe considered for credit facilities. Once an account has been opened terms are net cash within 30 days of the date on Invoice.
Retention Of Ownership
Property of the goods remains with the seller until full payment has been received. Until full payment is received Docklands Recycled Furniture may at any time recover the goods and may enter the buyer’s premises for this purpose. Nevertheless the risk in the goods passes to the buyer on delivery and the buyer shall promptly effect and maintain in the joint names of the parties, insurance of the goods against loss or damage in their full invoice price until final payment.
Guarantee
Except as herein expressly provided and as provided by law, the seller does not supply goods with the benefit of any term, warranty or condition, express or implied, as to the merchantability of the goods or their suitability for any purpose whatsoever. As far as it is able the seller will assign to the buyer all rights conferred on it by any of its suppliers. Insofar as quality of materials used in goods manufactured for the seller is concerned, the seller shall have the option to repair, replace (or at its sole discretion refund to the buyer the price of the goods without any further liability) parts agreed by it as being defective, and which have been returned to it, carriage paid, within a minimum period of 1 year from the date of delivery to the buyer’s works.
Goods subjected to fair wear and tear, misuse, defective maintenance, alteration or modification, are excluded from this guarantee. Goods covered are subject to single shift working only (8 hour working day). In no case shall the liability of the seller hereunder exceed that of the actual manufacturer of the particular goods or parts thereof. Any liability on the part of the seller is subject to terms of payment being met.
Technical Description And Data
Such descriptions whilst given as a guide, in good faith, are subject to alteration by the seller without notice. In particular all weights and dimensions are approximate only. All maximum load capacities stated are for evenly distributed loads only. It is the buyers responsibility to check dimensions at the time of ordering. In case of any size query please call prior to ordering, as once orders are placed and/or delivery is made we are unable to return.
Consequential Loss
Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by the seller’s negligence, or as herein provided, the seller shall not be liable to the buyer for any consequential loss or damage (whether for loss or profit or otherwise) costs or expenses or their claims for consequential loss whatsoever which arise out of or in connection with the supply of the goods or their use or re-sale Docklands Recycled Furniture may also cancel a delivery due to circumstances beyond our control, and would not be liable to the buyer for any costs.
Claims
Notification of non-delivery must be made in writing immediately at the time of delivery and for shortages or damage within 24 hours of receipt of goods. Failing this no claims will therefore be entertained.
Returns
Goods will be accepted back for credit note use only with the express permission of Docklands Recycled Furniture. Please contact us for instructions. Bespoke or special order items cannot be accepted back in to stock or returned.
Goods ordered via our website, can be returned up to 14 calendar days after delivery although a cancellation charge will be incurred (minimum 25% of total amount). This is known as the cooling off period. This only applies, to goods still in their original wrapping. Special order and made to order goods are non returnable. Goods unwrapped, and/or opened and/or assembled are non returnable. You can return the goods to our warehouse at your own expense as long as they are still in their original packaging. We strongly recommend if in doubt to visit one of our showrooms to view and try the product first. We also advise if you are in doubt to not accept delivery.
Second Hand Furniture is sold as seen. Some products will have imperfections such as scratches and marks etc. If you are not satisfied with the condition of the product, please DO NOT accept delivery as once these items are delivered they are non returnable and non refundable. Second Hand goods are non refundable and non returnable once they have been signed for upon delivery. If in doubt, we strongly recommend you visit our showrooms to view.
Second hand items are not always supplied with keys but may be purchased with prices starting at £5.00 per key.
Cooling Off Period (E-Commerce Only)

Deposits
Deposits for orders can be made in store, and upon payment of balance, goods will be delivered. Deposits will be held for up to 2 weeks, after this time goods may be released from stock. Deposits are non refundable once received, and only a credit note will be issued in the event of a cancellation.

Hired equipment will remain the property of London Recycled Furniture Ltd at all times. The hirer is responsible for the safekeeping and maintenance of the equipment in good condition whilst in their possession. A charge of 2.5% of each rental invoice is payment by the hirer to cover the slight damage waiver (SDW). SDW covers slight damage such as scuffs and minor repairs that can be carried out by our own inhouse team. In the event of any equipment requiring repair as a result of the hirers negligence, misuse or abuse that cannot be carried out by our own inhouse team, then the hirer shall bear the cost of any such repair.
In the event that the goods are damaged beyond economical repair or are lost, the hirer shall bear the full write off cost. The hirer shall report to London Recycled Furniture Ltd in writing within 48 hours of the event, any damage or loss of the equipment. We advise that you take out your own insurance to cover against
damage or loss which would not be covered by the SDW. Write off costs for each product are available on request.
Acceptance of this quotation must be in writing, either as a reply to this email or with the provision of an official purchase order. Orders with a value of less than £500 must be paid for in full within 24 hours of receipt of the invoice to secure the stock. For orders with a value greater than £500 a minimum of 50% deposit will be required to secure the stock for your order, and settlement of the account must be completed 7 days prior to delivery or paid in full at the point of order if the event is less than 7 days away. Once accepted our quotation becomes a firm order and is thus subject to a cancellation fee as follows: Confirmed orders cancelled within 10 – 14 working days of the delivery date will be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the total order value and orders cancelled within 1 – 9 working days of the delivery date will be subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of the total order value. Payable within 7 days of the cancellation.
London Recycled Furniture Ltd accepts no responsibility for penalties, loss of earnings, damages or any other perceived or actual loss due to late delivery of goods hired. Eco Furniture reserves the right to substitute any goods for appropriate alternatives in the event of the actual goods quoted are not available.
London Recycled Furniture Ltd will endeavour wherever possible to ensure that pre-agreed delivery and collection times are adhered to. However London Recycled Furniture Ltd cannot accept responsibility for late deliveries or collections, due to unforeseen circumstances.

In accordance with late payment legislation, out company charges debt recovery costs and interest on late payments (the Bank of England Reference rate plus 8%). This means that interest will continue to accrue daily on your outstanding debt from the date the debt became due.
